ABOUT ME
I’m a hopelessly restless twenty-something designer on an endless search for the next adventure currently living in NYC. My background is in apparel design, graphic and textile prints.
Here’s a brief history of who I am, what I do, and why we should connect. I grew up in a small rural town in Indiana, raised by two non-creatives that decided it would be OK to let their oldest pursue a seemingly impractical career. I ended up attending The Art Institute, I declared as a Fashion Design major when I found myself going out of my way to create new sustainable, durable fashions. I annoyed the heck out of my fellow classmates, doing way more work than assignments generally called for, but it all paid off in the end.
In 2016, I received my B.A. and landed a job as a design assistant for Renfro Corp in New York City where I design hosiery for Kohl’s, Target and Walmart. At this point in my life, I’m extremely passionate about nature and want to expand my skills in the outdoor apparel industry. As a start, I’ve ventured out on my own and embarking on a little project that I hope to end up changing not only my career but the trails that so many of us enjoy.
When I’m not working on fun projects, you can find me on the trail, hiking up a mountain and removing trash along the way.
